\/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00c0 S\u00e8te, tout le monde conna\u00eet Marc Duran\u00a0, il est comme les chats et nous embrouille avec ses sept vies. On ne sait jamais sur laquelle danser et m\u00eame lui s\u2019y perd quelquefois. Hors il vient d\u2019avoir une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re des ma\u00eetres visionnaires de l\u2019Art Brut et s\u2019est jet\u00e9 \u00e0 coeur perdu dans la peinture, la grande, celle d\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019on ressort \u00e9branl\u00e9 comme d\u2019un r\u00eave \u00e9trange mais familier dont on aurait perdu la clef.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Duran est un jeune Piche de 16 ans, quand il r\u00e9alise son r\u00eave d\u2019enfant et embarque sur un cargo sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans le transport du bois. Il navigue pendant deux ans, fait le tour du continent africain et n\u2019en retient finalement que le souvenir des bordels sordides et encombr\u00e9s. L\u2019odeur de l\u2019alcool frelat\u00e9 m\u00e9l\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019herbe locale lui colle \u00e0 la peau et lui monte au cigare. Son aventure maritime et tropicale prend fin dans les bras d\u2019une prostitu\u00e9e alcoolique en qu\u00eate de protection rapproch\u00e9e &#8230; Il remonte \u00e0 S\u00e8te charg\u00e9 de quelques \u00e9chantillons qui lui ouvrent les portes d\u2019un autre BATO, assemblage collectif mont\u00e9 par Ketty Brindel, Herv\u00e9 Di Rosa et Robert Combas, la gen\u00e8se de la Figuration Libre, tir\u00e9 \u00e0 100 exemplaires sur la ron\u00e9o du Parti. Il joue son propre personnage dans le film exp\u00e9rimental \u201cLe Docteur Mabuse\u201d, <em>featuring<\/em> les Compagnons de la Libert\u00e9, Robert Combas produit et \u201cmet en sc\u00e8ne\u201d les pr\u00e9cieuses bobines super huit.<br \/>\nAu d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1980, Marc Duran prend sa guitare et monte le groupe \u00ab\u00a0Phullankontarque\u00a0\u00bb, pensionnaire r\u00e9gulier du mythique Heartbreak Hotel. Tr\u00e8s vite le groupe <em>splite,<\/em> in\u00e9vitables al\u00e9as de la musique rythm\u00e9e quand elle est jou\u00e9e \u00e0 plusieurs. Il garde Freddy \u00e0 la basse, prend le nom de \u00ab\u00a0Manchakou\u00a0\u00bb et embarque deux Jolis Gar\u00e7ons dans les squats poudreux de Londres.<br \/>\nRobin Wills prince de l\u2019underground Suisse et n\u00e9anmoins guitariste des Barracudas rencontr\u00e9 sur une tourn\u00e9e avec les \u00catres Humains, l\u2019autre groupe r\u00e9sident de ces ann\u00e9es blanches, produira quelques d\u00e9mos avec John Plain, fameux guitariste des Boys.<br \/>\nQuand lass\u00e9 du smog et du succ\u00e8s qui pi\u00e9tine devant sa porte sans jamais oser entrer, Marc redescend \u00e0 S\u00e9te et s\u2019att\u00e8le \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un\u2026 op\u00e9ra, pas moins. \u00ab\u00a0Le Multorum Querela\u00a0\u00bb, soutenu par le Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Municipal\/sc\u00e8ne nationale du Languedoc sera jou\u00e9 par l\u2019Orchestre de Montpellier fin 1997et \u00e9dit\u00e9 en CD. Pas mal pour quelqu\u2019un qui n\u2019 \u00e9crit toujours pas la musique\u2026<br \/>\nIl va passer les ann\u00e9es 2000 entre S\u00e8te et Manaus, en Amazonie, un voyage initiatique o\u00f9 il rencontre sa future femme, Lisa. Apr\u00e8s 10 ans de jungle Br\u00e9silienne, il rentre \u00e0 S\u00e8te en famille recompos\u00e9e, ouvre une \u00e9picerie pour \u00eatre sur de manger tous les jours mais plie rapidement les gaules devant l\u2019incompr\u00e9hension d\u2019un banquier tatillon et le nombre ahurissant de pi\u00e8ces jaunes \u00e0 compter tous les soirs.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant l\u2019exposition\/explosion du \u201cPatron\u201d \u00e0 Lyon, il tourne les potentiom\u00e8tres de la sono \u00e0 11 et donne la main aux performances des \u00ab\u00a0Sans Pattes\u00a0\u00bb, le nouveau groupe que Robert Combas vient de former avec Lucas Mancione, artiste \u00e0 l\u2019oreille fine et au tricot \u00e0 rayures, horizontales les rayures. Guitariste free et champion es bandes magn\u00e9tiques Mancione sculpte des oreilles en marbre de 3 m\u00e8tres de haut quand il a besoin de taper d\u2019dans!<br \/>\nAu Mac de Lyon, Marc Duran reste fascin\u00e9 par cet accrochage g\u00e9nial. Il est subjugu\u00e9 du travail accompli par son ami de trente ans et red\u00e9couvre m\u00eame deux toiles de 1981 pour lesquelles il avait servi de mod\u00e8le.<br \/>\nC\u2019est en autodidacte convaincu qu\u2019 il va reprendre \u00e0 son compte le <em>do it yourself<\/em> des premiers beatnicks. Il ramasse l\u2019argent de la famille, d\u00e9valise le marchand de couleurs et lui qui n\u2019avait jamais touch\u00e9 un pinceau de sa vie se met au boulot vitesse grand V!<br \/>\nBluff\u00e9e par les premi\u00e8res toiles, La Pop Galerie revenue de 25 ans de nomadisme arty monte sa premi\u00e8re expo &#8211; deux jours, dans son salon &#8211; le gratin s\u2019y presse, ils vendent tout! Boost\u00e9 par cette fantastique r\u00e9v\u00e9lation et l\u2019adh\u00e9sion sans fard qu\u2019elle provoque, Marc s\u2019att\u00e8le avec gourmandise au chevalet, d\u00e9rout\u00e9 par sa r\u00e9elle performance mais cr\u00e2nement convaincu qu\u2019il est temps de frapper un grand coup et de r\u00e9colter les fruits de dizaines d\u2019ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9rive autour du monde.<br \/>\nMarc Duran vient d\u2019avoir une vision, exactement comme un artiste m\u00e9diumnique du si\u00e8cle dernier, sauf que l\u00e0 tout se joue devant nos yeux et il ne tient qu\u2019\u00e0 nous Il passe son enfance au plus pr\u00e8s des \u00e9toiles et devient pour toujours \u00ab\u00a0La Cr\u00e9ature du Cam\u00e9o\u00a0\u00bb, le nom de la salle de cin\u00e9ma ouverte par ses parents en plein pays minier o\u00f9 il passe ses journ\u00e9es. Ils l\u2019exploiteront jusqu\u2019en 1963, tirant le rideau sur la Derni\u00e8re S\u00e9ance faute de spectateurs. La cin\u00e9philie \u00e9rudite de Guy Brunet s\u2019est arr\u00eat\u00e9e brusquement \u00e0 cette \u00e9poque &#8211; l\u2019Age d\u2019Or d\u2019Hollywood comme il aime \u00e0 le pr\u00e9ciser \u2013 c\u2019est un authentique traumatisme. Le cin\u00e9ma d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui ne trouve gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses yeux, il n\u2019en retient que le sexe et la violence.<\/p>\n<p>De ses souvenirs et des archives paternelles conserv\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieusement, il \u00e9crit des sc\u00e9narii originaux (la vie de Napol\u00e9on \u00e0 St H\u00e9l\u00e8ne en trois tomes dialogues compris \u2026) et liste sur des cahiers d\u2019\u00e9coliers des inventaires aux entr\u00e9es multiples\u00a0: classement par titres de films, acteurs et actrices, r\u00e9alisateurs, sc\u00e9naristes, producteurs c\u00e9l\u00e8bres, habilleuses \u2026 rien ne lui \u00e9chappe.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de ce travail obsessionnel, Guy Brunet peint \u00e0 la glyc\u00e9ro de salle de bain (pour la brillance) sur des supports de fortune des re-cr\u00e9ations d\u2019affiches de films de l\u2019Age d\u2019Or. Images singuli\u00e8res o\u00f9 se marient avec bonheur une figuration haute en couleur rehauss\u00e9e d\u2019une typographie totalement inspir\u00e9e qui se moque des conventions. Les logos des grandes firmes Hollywoodiennes peints au recto de vieux plans de mines tr\u00f4nent dans son salon. Pour Le Train Sifflera Trois Fois, il place entre Gary Cooper et Gr\u00e2ce Kelly une \u00e9norme pendule qu\u2019il consid\u00e8re comme le personnage central du film. Il nomme joliment Donald Trumbo au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique du Spartacus de Stanley Kubrick, construit le d\u00e9cor de Ben Hur en carton et Le Pont de La Rivi\u00e8re Kwa\u00ef, en bois de cagette sur 15 m\u00e8tres, r\u00e9plique exacte de sa propre affiche \u2026<\/p>\n<p>Une mani\u00e8re d\u2019arr\u00eater le temps, comme si associer le cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 sa propre existence le renvoyait d\u00e9finitivement au Cam\u00e9o de son enfance.<\/p>\n<p>Quand aux sept cent cinquante silhouettes (dernier recensement f\u00e9vrier 2010), \u00e0 l\u2019effigie de stars c\u00e9l\u00e9brissimes peintes sur des cartons d\u00e9coup\u00e9s et entrepos\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tage, hommes\/femmes dans deux chambres s\u00e9par\u00e9es, ce <em>work in progress<\/em> qui d\u00e9borde all\u00e8grement dans les couloirs est aliment\u00e9 maintenant par les habitu\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9trange lucarne\u00a0: Il vient de <em>caste<\/em>r Claire Chazal au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique de ses 3 derniers films!
